Privacy Policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
Comeback helps businesses reconnect with their past customers. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@meetcomeback.com.
Two kinds of people
Business customers are the businesses that sign up for Comeback. End customers are the people on a business's customer list who may receive texts or emails from that business through Comeback. For end customer information, the business decides what is uploaded and why. We process it on the business's behalf.
What we collect
- Account details from businesses: name, email, business name, address, time zone and settings.
- Customer lists a business uploads: names, phone numbers, emails, last visit dates, services, and whether each person agreed to receive texts.
- Messages sent and received through Comeback, including replies and opt-out requests.
- Sales records a business uploads to measure results.
- Billing details, handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, used for security.
How we use it
We use this information only to run the service: to send the messages a business approves, deliver replies, honor opt-outs, measure results, bill for the service, prevent abuse and provide support. We don't sell personal information.
Text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share phone numbers only with the carriers and messaging providers needed to deliver messages. Anyone can reply STOP to stop texts from a business at any time, and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to run Comeback, including Google Firebase (accounts and data storage), Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messaging), Resend (email) and Anthropic (writing message drafts). They may process information only to provide their service to us.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep information while an account is active. A business can delete customers from its list at any time, and can ask us to delete its account and data by emailing us. We keep opt-out records so that people who said stop are never texted again.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each business can only see its own data.
End customers
If you got a message from a business through Comeback and want your information changed or removed, contact that business, or email us and we'll pass your request along.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and tell business customers by email.
